Pilgrimages to the Nyingma & Dudjom Sacred Sites in Tibet
Lineage-Based Pilgrimages since 2009
Small Groups
Flexible Pace
Practice-Oriented for Westerners
Lord Buddha Shakyamuni, Padmasambhava, and non-Buddhist masters as well, have taught that pilgrimage is a profound means of purification and spiritual illumination. For Westerners especially, pilgrimage is important. Not living within Buddhist cultures, we run the risk of understanding the Dharma only intellectually, without absorbing it as a way of living.
Central Tibet
These pilgrimages include Dudjom’s Rinpoche’s seat and hermitages in southeastern Tibet, the historical foundations in Lhasa, Samye/Chimphu, Mindroling, and more.
Eastern Tibet
Eastern Tibet is home to several of the Six Mother Monasteries of the Nyingma tradition. Spread across Kham, Amdo, and Golok, this is where the Nyingma and Dzogchen traditions continue to flourish today.
