Going to Tibet is a significant journey. There is a lot to understand, and good preparation makes a real difference.

Sangha Journeys was founded in 2009 by Lama Dechen Yeshe Wangmo to help Western practitioners travel to the sacred sites of Khandro Yeshe Tsogyal in Central Tibet. Over the years, the scope has widened to include sacred places of the Nyingma and Dudjom traditions in Central and Eastern Tibet, including Kham, Amdo, and Golok.

We specialize in small-group pilgrimages with attention to sacred geography, Buddhist history, and meaningful opportunities for practice.

Sangha Journeys is partnered with Road To Tibet Travel in Lhasa, a travel company with long experience arranging Tibet journeys, permits, guides, vehicles, hotels, and on-the-ground support.

I can help with just about everything, including creating your itinerary, understanding passport and visa requirements, preparing for travel in China and Tibet, thinking through international flights, and considering health and altitude issues.
